Shortly I will outline how we can discover our purpose as promised in part 1. But first I would like to say a little more about purpose. Finding our purpose in life is not as difficult as it may at first seem. There are some hurdles for us to overcome though as we have been living in a system that pushes us towards using our skills to fulfil the purpose of others.
I recall working in the justice system which I applied for in order to steer people back onto the right track through giving them support and encouragement. This quickly changed as the system was set up to monitor if they were following the rules set out for them by the courts rather than actually achieving lasting change.
Through this experience I realised that my dream of helping others find their path in life would have to be something I set out to do intentionally based on my passion, rather than taking up employment that claimed to meet my passion.
Over the years I have trained and developed myself to take action on the things I want to achieve and this has helped me in finding my purpose. My true purpose is to help others find theirs.
