'Work-Life Balance Workshop'
Group sessions (max 12 people)
This is for members of your teams working within the stress related environment. Modern day living is incredibly stressful, fast-paced and often overwhelming and can easily result in work and life being merged together causing further stress and disillusionment.
Our sessions aim to tackle the above issues and last up to 60 minutes. This will provide professionals with information, tools and techniques to explore how to develop a healthy work-life balance.
Sessions to be covered are:

- The Power of Words
- Balance Wheel
- Values
- Goals
- Stop. Start. Keep.
These are not exhaustive topics as many others can also be covered to meet your organisational needs.

A poor work-life balance can leave you feeling irritable, emotional and bad-tempered. This is not good work-wise, and it is also likely to take its toll on work life, home life and other relationships. Many studies have looked at (a lack of) work-related sources of social support and their direct or moderating effects on health and work-related well-being.
Beer, Galletta and Gibson state that..
"There are a number of effects that are know to impact us such as job stress, job satisfaction, job performance, turnover intention or work and family conflict."
They go on to say...
"Being unable to count on the support of a direct supervisor in case of problems at work and even at home was shown to involve a substantially increased risk of poor health and work-related outcomes. Multiple sources of social support, and particularly supervisor support, have been proven to be important resources of health and well-being at work and need to be considered as key factors in workplace health promotion." (Beehr et al., 2003; Galletta et al., 2011; Gibson et al., 2009; Jenkins and Elliott, 2004)
Work does not always stop, when you walk out of your office. With smartphones and laptops, work follows us everywhere we go and, often, we can never really switch off – quite literally. We have access to e-mails, messages and other office communication 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Unless you consciously work towards reducing the excessive amount of time you spend working, you will experience an increased risk of burnout.
Using evidence based approaches, M&O Ltd offer Emotionally Healthy Supervision & Work-Life Balance coaching, to professionals working in stress related positions. This is for senior leadership within your staff teams who carry a number of responsibilities as well as supervise other staff members.
This will be delivered using Solution Focused Life coaching techniques which can help your staff identify goals, discover options, recognise and overcome any barriers, problem solve effectively and identify solutions... all of which will lead to them taking action towards achieving their desired outcomes.
The benefits to you as an organisation, will be that your senior staff will feel fully supported, find direction and be provided with space to reflect. We provide professionals with the space to talk and be heard, as well as find solutions to challenges affecting them in or out of work and so impacting their emotional well-being. This can lead to them being less likely to feel overly stressed, dissatisfied, burnt out or even sick and so improve productivity.
